一 |     8月24日消息，AMD EPYC 9005系列（Zen 5 Turin）服务器处理器发布近两年后，Linux内核终于为其添加了逐个CCD温度监控功能。    开发者Gabriel Ford于8月12日提交了仅8行代码的补丁，让EPYC 9555P等处理器能够在Linux下精确读取每个CCD的独立温度。          CCD是计算核心裸片，一颗EPYC处理器可能包含8到16个CCD。逐个监控每个CCD的温度，对于数据中心运维至关重要，运维人员可以精准定位热源，优化散热策略，避免单个CCD过热影响整体性能。

In a recent event, Ananya and Kartik had a hilarious conversation about their respective parents troubling them for basic phone-related issues. In one such instance, Kartik shared how his mother Mala Tiwari would keep calling him for OTPs.          He said, “My mom keeps calling me for that, Beta OTP dena (Son, please share the OTP).” Ananya, finding the conversation relatable, instantly noted that her father Chunky Panday also asks for OTPs from her. “I feel like they don’t even wait for me to give OTP; they just need it instantly. I had a long conversation with them about how they have to fix this. And then they don’t even fix another date to come back, like what’s happened to the money? Is it lost? It’s a big problem,” she said.Kartik further added that his mother would disconnect the call as soon as she has received her OTP from him. “Mom phone karke cut kar deti hai, OTP dena and then cut (Mom disconnects the call after I give her the OTP),” he added.          Ananya Panday has opened up about her dynamics with father Chunky Panday time and again. In a previous interview with We Are Yuvaa, Ananya had shared about watching her father's movies as a child. She had revealed, “I used to not watch much because I would get very scared that you were going to die in the movie. I remember when I was young and saw D Company, and suddenly you got shot and died in the movie. I thought it was actually happening, even though you were sitting right next to me. I was traumatised, so I didn’t watch too many of your movies because I thought you were going to die in all of them.”Also Read: Ananya Panday Steps Away From Choomantar?。     需要指出的，AMD锐龙台式机处理器早已支持该功能，EPYC Zen 5服务器却迟迟未能实现。    问题的根源在于EPYC 9005系列的最大CCD数量远超桌面产品，型号范围不同，CCD偏移量设置错误，导致k10temp驱动无法正确读取所有CCD的温度寄存器。

三 |     桌面版Zen 5锐龙最高支持8个CCD，而EPYC Turin最高可达16个CCD，代码中的检测逻辑无法覆盖服务器端的全貌。

四 |     代码审查过程中，开发者提交的初步补丁增加了CCD支持，但AI机器人Sashiko在审查时发现，k10temp_read_temp()函数中的逻辑仍然无法显示额外四个Die的温度。Sashiko指出了这一漏洞后，开发者据此修改并重新提交了补丁。    除了EPYC Turin的补丁，Linux 7.3的硬件监控子系统还迎来了多款华硕主板的传感器支持，包括ProArt Z690-CREATOR WIFI、ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI7 R2及ROG Maximus Z790 Hero等型号。

五 |     目前该补丁已进入Linux 7.3合并窗口，预计将在下一个内核版本中正式合入主代码库。
